Chiesa di Santa Maria del Carmine Contrada del Carmine 6
Started in 1429 and finished in 1475, this church, although the alterations of the XVIth and XVII century, it’s an example of Gothic architecture rich of fired, both glazed for the coffers around the windows, and natural on the grandiose façade characterized by pinnacles, by high trefoil windows and by the beauty stone portal with elegant wood leafs. Inside the are important frescos by Foppa (1475) and by Lombard school of the XVth century. Noteworthy is the chapel of the Compianto with the Pietà group by Mazzoni and Lombard school statues of the XVth century. In the back small courtyard we find a chapel with important frescos by Ferramola (1400) and by Civerchio (1500).
