Santa Maria della Pace
Via Pace 10

Built between 1720 and 1746. this church represents the most significant and important example of eighteenth-century style in Brescia, dominated with a high dome completely decorated inside with ochre frescos by Monti and Zanardi. Noteworthy the canvas by Pompeo Batoni preserved inside: Introduction at the Temple (1738) on the high altar and St. Giovanni in front of Madonna (1746) on the second left altar. Valuable also the sculptures by Antonio Calegari that make precious precious the second altars on the right and left side of the church.
