San Clemente
Vicolo S. Clemente

Built before one thousand year, modified in the XVth and XVIth centuries, was rebuilt in 1840 – 1850 by Vantini. The extraordinary paintings mostly by Moretto from Brescia buried here, make this church important. Above the high altar there’s one of the most important his work: the Virgin with Child woshipped by SS. Clemente, Domenico, Floriano, Caterina and Maddalena; Above the fourth, second and first altar on the left other three works by Moretto: “Mystical Wedding of St. Caterina” and “S. Orsola and her martyr companions”.
